Facility Maintenance Technician
Job Description

Primary purpose of position
The main functions of this position are to maintain the equipment and operating systems in the facility.
This is done during continuous walkthroughs throughout the entire facility and the parking lot.

Reporting Relationship
This position reports directly to the Club Manager or On-duty Manager. The Maintenance Manager also provides work direction and training.

Hours of Duty
A typical shift for this position is eight hours. Hours of duty are 7:00AM to 3:00PM, Monday through Friday. Most positions work five days per week.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform minor repairs on equipment 25
Perform daily cleaning 20
Conduct daily walkthroughs, maintain the facility 20
Perform weekly cleaning 10
Organize the facility 10
Perform monthly cleaning 5
Maintain a safe facility 5

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
A high school degree.
Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and equipment problems.
Pool Maintenance certificate is preferred.
Ability to read and follow equipment manufacturer's manuals.
Ability to spot problems or potential problems and take initiative to correct them.
Comfortable with details.
Basic verbal communication skills.
Basic report writing skills.
